Devilstones Bischofsbrück (Molbergen, Germany)

Places - Germany - Molbergen

This completely preserved 'devilish' megalith tomb has a special sage. Under the three imposing capstones of the 6 by 1,5 meter room, Satan wanted to hide his belongings according to old folklore stories.
Several scientists have especially focused on the fence of the tomb. It is not clear whether it is rectangular or oval. With an original size of 6 by 40 meters, this tomb clearly differs from the other megalithic tombs in the region. It is believed that this place was used for the burial of important persons. According to the legend, the number of stones changes every time they are counted. And even today the stones are still counted by visitors. If you look closely at the stones, you will discover one stone with an inscription, which was carved in the 20th century and is therefore not an authentic inscription.
